Former Rickshaw Puller Turned Philanthropist was Invited by the President of India

Ahmed Ali, a resident of Sribhumi (Karimganj) district, Assam and a former rickshaw puller, received a special invitation from the President of India to attend the 76th Republic Day celebration in Delhi. Known for his extraordinary contributions to education, Ahmed Ali has built 9 schools in his community, transforming lives through his vision and dedication.

Despite no longer driving a rickshaw, Ahmed Ali’s legacy as a philanthropist remains a source of pride for the people of Sribhumi. Out of the nine schools he established, some are primary schools, while others cater to upper primary education, significantly uplifting the educational infrastructure in the district.

Ahmed Ali was Invited by the President of India for Republic Day Celebration

Recognizing his remarkable achievements, State Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Minister Krishnendu Paul personally delivered the invitation letter to Ahmed Ali at his house. Minister Paul also ensured that all necessary arrangements for his visit to Delhi were taken care of, including booking his flight tickets.

Ahmed Ali’s invitation to the Republic Day celebration serves as an acknowledgment of his unwavering commitment to social progress and his exceptional contributions to society.
