Silchar: Nazrul Haque, a resident of Alekargool village in Badarpur, has been honored with the prestigious Assam Gaurav Award for his outstanding achievements in fish farming and employment generation.

The announcement was made by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday, where he praised Haque’s contributions.

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “Nazrul Haque, a resident of Badarpur in Sribhumi district, has been doing exceptional work in aquaculture. He has employed many youths and was earlier promoted by our Government under the APART scheme.”

Haque’s achievements have brought immense pride to the people of Barak Valley, earning him a distinguished reputation in the region. His success story stands as an inspiration for aspiring entrepreneurs in the fisheries sector.
