Silchar: In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, Cachar Police seized 38 kg of cannabis worth ₹30 lakh and arrested three drug peddlers.
The operation was conducted at Krishnapur Part II under the jurisdiction of Silchar Police Station.
Acting on specific intelligence, Police intercepted an e-rickshaw in the area and discovered the consignment of cannabis.
The arrested individuals were reportedly involved in drug trafficking in the region.
