Silchar: Reliance Consumer Products Ltd (RCPL), a prominent FMCG and beverage company. It has expanded its presence in the Northeast region with the inauguration of its new manufacturing plant in Guwahati, Assam. This new plan is established in collaboration with the local business Jericho. CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, inaugurated the Campa plant on Saturday. He highlighted its role in driving the industrial and economic growth in Guwahati and other north east region.
Spanning over 6 lakh sq ft, the new plant is one of the largest beverage manufacturing units in the Northeast. It will initially have a production capacity of more than 10 crore liters for carbonated soft drinks (CSD) and nearly 18 crore liters for packaged drinking water to meet the growing consumer demand.
CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “Campa’s products will be available to the common people at a very affordable price. One of the key advantages of Campa Cola is that while it offers affordable prices, the quality is on par with global standards. I believe this brand will continue to grow and expand. New Campa Bottling Plant to Create 1,000 Jobs in Assam
CM Sarma also mentioned that Assam had received over Rs 40,000 crore in private investments since 2021. He further said that the new Campa Cola plant would create employment for more than 1,000 people.

The plant is developed in partnership with Jericho, a well-established business house in Guwahati, is equipped with cutting-edge manufacturing technology. It features two world-class bottling lines: a 600 BPM (bottles per minute) carbonated soft drink line and a 583 BPM water production line, ensuring high efficiency and innovation in beverage production.

Reliance Opens New Campa Bottling Plant in Guwahati
The Guwahati plant will manufacture RCPL’s popular beverage products, including Campa Cola, Campa Orange, Campa Lemon, Power Up, and packaged drinking water under the Independence and Sure Water brands. Initially, the plant will cater to consumer demand in Assam, Northeast India, and North Bengal. The plant is also equipped to supply products to other markets based on demand.
By optimizing its SKU mix, the plant will offer a diverse selection of beverages and pack sizes to meet various consumer preferences.
