Car Catches Fire on Silchar Tarapur Overbridge
Silchar: On Thursday, a Maruti car caught fire unexpectedly on the Tarapur Overbridge in Silchar town. The driver abandoned the vehicle, leaving the windows closed, before the fire broke out. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
Witnesses and local residents were left in shock upon seeing the vehicle engulfed in flames. They immediately informed the Silchar Fire Department. Firefighters, along with police officials from the Tarapur Police Outpost, immediately arrived at the spot. Fire departments and Police officials prompt response helped in controlling the fire before it could spread further.
Silchar Car Fire Sparks Panic Among Local Residents
According to the reports, the cause of the fire remains unknown. Questions have been raised regarding how the driver managed to survive the incident, considering the car’s windows were shut at the time of the fire blaze.
A viral video of the incident is circulating widely on facebook, showing the car fully engulfed in flames. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.
